Calling the Jefferson County Emergency Net into session. This is (your call ) and my name is (your name ). I will be the net control station for this evening. This net meets every Tuesday evening at 9:00pm local time and is a service of the Birmingham Amateur Radio Club. This net is designed to train amateur radio operators in handling emergency communications when needed. You do not have to be a member of the BARC to participate and I invite all properly licensed radio operators to check in. Any topic of interest to amateur radio operators is welcomed on this net. In the event of repeater failure we will QSY to the 145.410 mhz repeater, pl tone 100hz.

 

The Jefferson County Emergency Net is affiliated with the ARRL National Traffic System. NTS messages may be entered on this net.
